Firstly adjust the necktie to a length that you are comfortable with, it makes sense to do this before you get baby ready for a feed. Make sure baby is settled and happy the first time you use the cover, hold baby in the cradle hold, ready to feed.
Put the cover over your head and gently drape over baby, ensuring that you make eye contact quickly with baby, to reassure him that you are there. Get comfortable, when you are satisfied that you are well covered, start feeding! You should be feeding exactly the same way as you would do normally using the cradle hold as demonstrated below.
